Turn the Volume Down

Turn the Volume Down

As I was banished inside the house, I had no better job than

to peek through the window of our neighbours and one was

surely most interesting. House number four had four people in it,

yeah the odds are funny but the universe works in mysterious ways.

The smallest daughter was watching some cartoons, even though my

age was well above for watching cartoons, I was not old enough to

watch news all day long but I guess not everyone hates news as her

father entered the room to turn the volume down and switched the channel.

Most of the times these news channels were so hungry that they would

bring the most bizarre news from the world and today was no special.

I was not able to hear what they said but I could clearly see a black

cloud hovering above the ‘Pyne Tower’ and I am pretty sure they were

calling it the Godzilla of clouds or maybe the largest Murder of Crows

but my father had always told me to never believe these pretentious actors,

they are too good at their game but not everyone has a clear resolve as my

father, Mr. Vidhan was one of them as he closed the T.V. instantly and

started rushing, there was chaos in the house and I was laughing at their

naivety, such are human emotions, so complex yet sometimes so contrasting

but I would be lying if I were to say that I wanted them to Turn the Volume

Down because soon I would realise, emotions are much more than just

chemical evolution in human biology.
